Upright Pianos

What's the difference between an Upright and a Spinet?
Spinets are 36" tall. Uprights go over 50" and more in height. While they are both in the 'Vertical Piano' category, the bigger they are, the better they sound. That's why you won't see any 'Spinets' in our rental fleet.
Your teacher will tell you - get the tallest upright you can fit in your budget. They are more like a grand piano due to their longer string length and larger sound board area - sometimes even larger than a baby grand piano!
Want your family to stay with it? Give them the best sound possible. In vertical pianos, that is the category of 48"+ pianos.
